Hello friends,
I’m doing something a bit different today. I’m starting to give you the astrological information about my characters. This may come up in the story later on. So, it’s my idea to set up the groundwork for it.
Have a fantastic day,
Nancy
Richard’s Birth Information
Note that this is for a man born in the late 18th century, and so it is more difficult to calculate his actual birth chart. It’s with that said that I tell you that although I have solid knowledge of astrology, this is a first for me, and keep in mind as well that this is a work of fiction. I had to fill in the blanks for Richard, but since he’s a product of my own imagination, I figured that it’s all right.

Richard Bartholomew Wells
Born: May 1, 1795 5:15 AM London, England (may change the year later)
Sun: Taurus 1st house 6 degrees 14 mins.
Moon: Cancer 7th house 19 degrees 10 mins.
Mercury: Aries 2nd house 28 degrees 5 mins.
Venus: Aries 2nd house 23 degrees 11 mins.
Mars: Pisces 6th house 4 degrees 9 mins.
Jupiter: Gemini 8th house 20 degrees 7 mins.
Saturn: Leo 4th house 15 degrees 3 mins.
Neptune: Taurus 1st house 10 degrees 22 mins.
Pluto: Scorpio 3rd house 19 degrees 14 mins.
Ascendant (Rising): Leo 5th house 8 degrees 20 mins.
What It Means (Main points anyway)
Richard is a rugged, no-nonsense kind of guy who has an incredible mix of good and not-so-good fortune (Jupiter in Gemini). That up and down fortune in his life is seen in his enormous wealth, but also in his tendency to be a prone to accidents. Read more about the accident that was assumed to have killed him in the link below.
When it comes to matters of the heart, Richard is a both brave, true and fearless. And he doesn’t hesitate to put his emotions into words. (Mercury and Venus in Aries).
What is interesting about this chart is that his natal Moon in Cancer brings a love of home and family, and an emotional need for children in his life. Richard never had any children of his own.
His Accident And Return
Here is where his Sun/Neptune conjunction in Taurus comes into the picture. Taurus is a sign that never gives up. No matter what. Positioned in his natal Sun(the self) and his natal Neptune (mysteries), it is not at all shocking that Richard would befall an accident that he miraculously survived. And, in the process of surviving, spent time recovering from his injuries while not knowing who he really was, or any of the details of his life!

This is great. Giving the character’s astrology chart is terrific. I used to perform astro readings back in the day, and this looks very good. But I also never attempted to calculate a chart for someone born before 1950 or 1960! Totally different! Richard is a complex man, would love to learn more about him!

Nice! Love astrology and your interpretation is great. It’s okay to makeup a chart for fictional characters. Deepens the understanding of the players.

I like the astrology aspect here. You rarely read about a character’s zodiac sign, or even their birthday. Nice detail, Nancy!

I was and am an astrologer/psychic and love this additional character detail. We learn so. much about people from their natal charts. Even if this is fictional it’s still a very good lesson in how the stars influence our lives. Kudos, Nancy!

Richard to life!

How fascinating! Astrology doesn’t usually come into most fiction, so to see it here is exciting! Richard is a behind the scenes kind of character, so helping us understand him better is a great idea!

Enjoyed reading this! He looks as though he has the weight of the world on his shoulders in this photo. And he actually does in the story!

Nice! Richard is so conflicted about the women in his life that I feel sorry for him! He’s got a bit of a heavy star chart so that answers it!
