Victoria Lee Anglo

Second of three new characters.

In Book # 3, “Race Against Time” I bring in three additional characters who have an impact on the central story and the lead players themselves.

Victoria Lee Anglo, hails from Canada and lived in upstate New York for many years, until her husband passed away under the most suspicious of circumstances. Victoria was never formally charged with his murder, but the rumors were everywhere that it was her hand and not her husband’s heart condition that caused his demise.

Who is Victoria Lee Anglo?

She’s a quirky woman overall, who smiles broadly and laughs way too loud. She has a head of blonde hair that she manages to tint just enough to hide the gray,  and has her mind set on getting married again. To a rich man.  Any rich man.

Victoria is a very strong woman. She can ride a horse very well, drives her own buggy, and can aim straight with a gun. These are accomplishments she loves to bring into conversations as much as she possibly can.

Signing her name “Victoria L.A.” she’s created an image for herself as a highly fashionable woman of means, in the hopes of attracting men who truly are of means.

Most men were attracted to her.  She was different and stood out in a crowd.  The made no secret of the fact that they found her fascinating, and so there was no shortage of men vying for her attention. .  But as soon as she discovered that a man is not-so-wealthy, he became nothing more than a memory.

She does find a man who ticks all the boxes.

There is a man who Victoria manages to catch in her spider web and hopes to devour him and his fortune in short order. Unfortunately for her, he’s married to someone else, although that wife is reportedly in very poor health, and is confined to her own rooms with a nurse in attendance around the clock.

This gives Victoria the opportunity she has been longing for for all of her life .  A man who she verified as being ridiculously rich, not bad to look at, and soon to be a widower.

She immediately makes a huge play for this man, showing up at every party and event that she finds her “target” attending.  The man warms up to Victoria  right away, and they soon become an acceptable, and assumed by all platonic,  social pair.

Being a woman past 40, but luckily looks far younger than her years, Victoria is no stranger to seduction.   She knows not to come on too strong, while at the same time dangling the bait.  And so it went that after many late night dinners after the theatre with her new man, she bribes the manager of an exclusive private bath house to allow her access to the men’s bathing rooms on a day when she knows the target will be there.  Alone.

Sneaking in quietly behind him, Victoria picks up a sponge and gives this man one heckuva bath – and of course much more than that happens.

This begins an alliance that will result in a surprisingly modern relationship before it’s over, and not only will it end up shocking more than a few – there will be at least one dead body left on the floor.

Who is the man? Who will die? Ahhhh…..to get that answer you must read book #3 – which is published and slated for an update by the end of 2017.
