Never Gone Never Will Be

Sometimes it happens like that.

You meet someone and it’s this utterly life-changing experience. And that can be most anywhere you go. A crowded restaurant. An airport. Even a theatre at a Christmas show.

Right down to the bone.

It’s curious how love works. It doesn’t care who you are, what you’re doing, whether you’ve got others to worry about or you’re all alone – love has its own mind when it comes to hitting you with one of those big, pink arrows.

It’s never gone never will be time.

You’re in for the long run with this one. Struggle though you may, deny it a thousand times over, it doesn’t matter. Lady Love has you in her sweet grip and despite her pretty face she’s got a helluva lot of strength!

My romance series brings this into play front and center. Characters major and minor all end up waving the white flag in the face of a force much more powerful than they ever thought it would be – or even thought existed for that matter.

Only one way to resolve this.

Be together. Say it out loud and live it forever. That’s how it has to be. Anything else is just hitting the self-destruct button. And that button can come in the form of sadness that doesn’t go away – and sometimes reaching for a stranger’s body or the bottle to kill the pain.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. It can be joyous and have that storybook ending that no one, especially you yourself, ever thought was possible.

Once-in-a-lifetime love can raise its head up and scream at you when necessary. Yea.  You can’t deny that this is real and amazing and WOW and glorious and……just plain sweet.
